:rotf: Roll up next to this chick on a 929 RR. She starts reving on me and even thoguh I know my trannys not much for this world, again, I figured Ild give it a shot anyway. So I spool up and launch with 18 psi. At first I just kinda sat there while my back tires burned a little rubber. Then I guess the viscous decided to wake the hell up and get to work. The fronts were pulling me everywhered and I was just gone. She didnt even barely get otu ahead of me off the line while I was being retarded. So at about 50 I see her, still 6 cars back, starting to pull a LITTLE. Im sure she wasnt very experienced, if at all, I just wanted to play with the girlies. It was fun. Especially when her two other friends came up from behind us on thier bikes  If I was only single.

2 of the girls were very hot and one was kind of a fat ass. I wouldve talked to them if me and the wife didnt cruise around alot. Sheld find out in a second. Now if they wouyldve talked to me I more than likely wouldve got myself in some trouble.

I like to think its cause I build them well but truthfully, I dont usually get to put more than 20K on them. By then Im usually slipping clutches. Which is fine really cause its the hard parts I never want to break. I am waiting for that to happen someday. Havent had it yet with the exception of my first trans I had to build had lost the forward sprag but thats all sealed up and didnt cause any other BS. Abes tranny came to me with the output shaft sideways through the planetary. Im sure that kind of day will come to me sooner or later but until then...

I snapped the output and because it broke at an angle it got shoved 3/8" forward, so it crushed a bunch of stuff and then filled everything else with metal shavings ... also completely jammed the shaft so the truck wouldn't roll

I will always race any Gsxr 1000, ZX10, Hyabusa, etc, never lost to one yet 0-100 ft. ;)
Just as long they do not have a wheelie bar(you don't see those on the street), or a bike w/a extended swingarm. A bike with those items, you will probably loose on the 60 ft race. :2cents:

You do relize a zx-14 is "softly" rated at 9.95 1/4 times right ?! thats compleatly stock
Also even tho its a smaller bike the 05 and up Gsxr 1000 posts faster 330 ft times then any bike EVER MADE it has the best power to weight ratio on 2 wheels oh and as far as busa's you can expect low 10's 10.1 - 10.3 1/4 stock I love mt syclone but seriously on the street you can gain a quick jumps on bikes but at the top end 60m.p.h and up their is no street truck on this forum that could take a slightly modded big litre sport bike just my :2cents: Ive been around bikes for 10 years easy and have yet to see this happen hell my old 01 zx-9r kawasaki ran 10.3 1/4 times bro Im not doubting your win just educating the masses about sport bike performance

These races I won are not full 1/4 mile passes, just 0-60 ft mostly, then 0-100 ft
If you can,,,,,,,,, try & get those bikes you mentioned ,,,their 60ft times.
Now remember, those times are w/a pro rider, guys on the street do not even come close to posted times in the magazines.
I have been around bikes longer than ten years and raced w/the NMRA association(1/4 mile racing) here in Ca, so I do know a little.

The Stock 636 Kawi ran nines, Busa , GSXR, ZX10 and so on all have run 9 second passes in magazine times.
I am talking 0-60 ft, a lot of guys here on this forum will tear up any of those bikes 0-60 ft.Esp, guys that just ride on the street, no drag racing experience, but ride the fastest rocket out there.
I have challenge street bike guys at a track ,trying to bet them that I can beat them 0 -60 ft, they are thinking to themselves, what a chump, then ,they think a little more then they get scared ,then back down everytime.
All you need to do is run 1.8 or so 60 ft.

BTW, I will put my money on Mikes street Ty up against a slightly modded liter bike,, Roberts Syclone & others. :2cents: :2cents:

B.T.W.,,,, aftermarket exhaust/mufflers on motorcycles are illegal, in case you did not know that, just something to think about. :2cents:

HUH ??? I don't think so bro I dont know what state you live in but up here in the north east they are perfectly legal, in fact mine was just inspected with a full m4 exhust on it. Where is your source of info on that ?

Here in colorful Colorado, ANYTHING that did not come factory on your vehicle IS illegal. Pretty damn gay if you ask me.

Re: Smoked a 929 RR

its not illegal to mod bikes in Indiana, im not a pro rider by any means, but a decent rider will tear most of these trucks up in a race. there are a few exceptions if you are talking about robert's truck or a similar build, but my 636 has ran 10.20's with me on it, that was 2 years ago ago with only a sprocket change and strapping the bikes front suspension a little. I dont remeber what the 60 ft times were but that was yanking the front thru the 1st gear and a half. Who races 60ft only anyway? Not that i trying to call BS on your win, just stating performance of sport bikes is unbelievable these days.

Re: Smoked a 929 RR

A few years ago, I raced in the 600 class with WERA and hot-lapped with the AMA series. With a decent rider, a Sy or Ty will still get a bike out of the hole plain and simple. A CBR 929, YZFR1, Ducati 996, GSX-R 1000, etc will make mouse play out of them within 100-150 feet though. Again, a whole lot depends on the rider of the bike and his/her ability to ride it close to the limit but do the math.....out of the box, most of these bikes now are 170+ HP (crank) and weigh 412 lbs dry / 450 lbs wet. That's 1 HP to every 2+ lbs. Take a semi-seriously modded Sy at 450 HP (crank) / 3,600 lbs. That's 1 HP to every 8 lbs. Doesn't take a smart guy to figure the outcome correctly :).

The muffler is stamped right on it from the factory, unless you have the factory stock muffler on the bike, you are illegal, State Ca.

The thing is most CHP, LAPD ,etc does not inforce this law, unless you are hanging out in the wrong place at the wrong time & you will get a ticket & you will have to put the stock original muffler on to pass inspection, if you do not, you will not pass inspection
period!!!!

Your bike must be at a certain decible level also, or you will get a ticket for that also.

You see those Damm Harely's running straight pipes, sounds like ass,& do you see them getting tickets, answer no, but those bikes are illegal also.

I forgot what year you can change your muffler or exhaust ,I think it's some where in the 1970's.
I do not have the Ca code books handy, & I am too lazy to look it up on line, but believe me any,,,& I do mean any aftermarket muffler on any newer bikes are illegal.Plain & simple.

Do people follow the laws?, not all the time, do cops give people tickets for aftermarket exhausts/mufflers,when they feel like it.
