Hey guys,

It's been a long time since I've been here. Adam texted me this morning about this thread. I've sold every car that is in that picture. I don't have any classics any more and have kinda gone Vette. My only two toys in my garage are a C5 Z06 and a C6 Z06. A ZR1 should be there in a couple months as I am first in line at my Stealership and my build date is in August. If I survive the raping they give me, I'll post up pics when I get it.

My C5Z is a LS2 based 402 stroker with MTI stage III 243 casting heads. A couple of T3/T4 hybrid turbos supply the air and a dual nozzle meth kit keeps it in one piece. I also designed a custom "on demand" fuel system for it so I don't have to hear the big pump run all the time.

I hope you guys have the nats here this year. I always like hanging out with this group.

Performan Norman is the ONLY reason I own a SY and TY. Back when I was 16 I was on the f-body forums and he mistaken me for somebody else and mentioned syty's... that's when I looked at his site and fell in love with the Syclone.

Norm, when's the next house party? I'm dieing to see the TT vette.

Yeah I first met him when I was working at a gas station pumping gas and he pulled up in his syclone and I was that crazy teenager wanting to buy it from him. A few years later we ran into each other again at a gas station and I was the one driving a typhoon but he had upgraded to his c6 zo6. Hopefully next time I run into him at a gas station I will be driving the z06 and he will be in the zr1. :tup:

Are you going to watch your ZR1 being built? I am only 2 hrs from the vette plant. Be glad to pick you up at the airport in the ty and we can run down there to watch.

I'm not going to watch this one being built. I watched the birth of my last two and it's going to be about the same. Plus, I have mixed feelings about the ZR1. I love the performance but am not happy about the ricer attributes and most of all the HUGE STEALERSHIP mark up.

haha No, I have never had museum delivery. I have them ship it to my dealership, I drive it home with the shrink wrap still on it and prep the car myself. It's kind of enjoyable.

Clear polycarbonate hood window that exposes a plastic engine cover. Rear spoiler that is a bolt on instead of having it molded into the rear fascia. Carbon fiber from splitter that just replaces the one that is on the Z06s instead of molding a new front fascia. This is a $103,000+ car and I think it should have more integrated body lines. JMHO!

Is that supercharger like a Procharger or is it a Roots style?

So will you be getting the hood repainted to cover up the like plastc window?

Norm...if you want, I'll do a fiberglass fill on the plexi window so it wont be there anymore. Of course, you will have to leave entire car with me for the span of 3 months and I will not be responsible for tire tread lose or higher mileage upon delivery.

I heard something like that. It was some special carbon fiber paint that was some outrageous cost. BTW, the first one sold at Barrett Jackson for a cool mil.
