Looking for a rear wheel speed for a syclone

I am looking to find a rear wheel speed sensor for my syclone. I think mine is bad. All the other sensors the ohm resistance is about 1200-1600 but this one starts at 2000 and slowing raises.

    L35 Rocker Arm Issue

Re: L35 Rocker Arm Issue If they are like my Cleveland you tighten the nut down tight to a certain torque. They are not able to set like the stock trucks. I have never had one come loose on my Cleveland.

    L35 Rocker Arm Issue

Re: L35 Rocker Arm Issue You may have to change cam and lifters as well, according to the article. I don't know. It was from a well known source.

    L35 Rocker Arm Issue

Re: L35 Rocker Arm Issue Copied from another discussion Matching the right cam with the right lifter and adjusting the valves correctly is important in order to avoid noisy lifters at startup, a problem that's commonly known as "morning sickness." Prior to '92, the 262 had the traditional...

    L35 Rocker Arm Issue

Re: L35 Rocker Arm Issue A lot of L35 motors suffered from morning sickness meaning they rattled when cold. They tried different lifters and such to correct it, but it really came down to the non-adjustable rockers. I didn't want to deal with it. Stock rockers are fine for me and my mild build...

    L35 Rocker Arm Issue

Re: L35 Rocker Arm Issue Good point, I did use ARP washers that had a chamfer, but I don't remember the number. You can get them different thickness also.

    L35 Rocker Arm Issue

Re: L35 Rocker Arm Issue There are poly locks for factory steel rockers. They might be different from roller ones. I know ARP and crane or comp offered another option just can't remember which one. I used theirs because they were cheaper. They worked fine. I had to lengthen the stud a little to...

    L35 Rocker Arm Issue

Re: L35 Rocker Arm Issue If you are not trying to reinvent the wheel, I would just put the studs in and be done with it and use all the stock stuff. The nuts would be up to you since ARP said not to use them, but I really don't know why. I put poly locks on to be safe. It really isn't that hard...

    L35 Rocker Arm Issue

Re: L35 Rocker Arm Issue I don't know, I thought about it. I didn't know if I would run into issues elsewhere. It seems everyone just change the studs. Some do drill and retap the head so they can use the larger small block studs instead of the smaller metric screw in. I didn't since I am not...

    L35 Rocker Arm Issue

Re: L35 Rocker Arm Issue You need to change the studs. The diameter of the screw in L35 is different than the press in LB4. The studs listed above will screw in and be the correct diameter and will allow the use of the stock arms. I am not sure of the diameter although they look totally...

    Setting initial timing

Re: Setting initial timing I have done it with the wire disconnected and used a hand held scanner and adjustable light. I have gone back and checked after setting it with an adjustable light and for me it was 2-3 degrees different. I am not sure what the best way is,probably with the wire...

Autometer - Full sweep electrical fuel pressure gauge failed

Re: Autometer - Full sweep electrical fuel pressure gauge failed I see, I don't know why the price swings so much. I figured you had a PLX with a DM-6. I didn't want to mount another gauge since fuel pressure along with O2 is kind of redundant. It just daisied right onto the DM-6 and I just...

Re: Autometer - Full sweep electrical fuel pressure gauge failed https://www.plxdevices.com/Fluid-Oil-Fuel-Pressure-Sensor-Module-p/897346002382.htm I gave $80 on sale. PLX uses VDO sendors they are around $50 and it is included . I called PLX and although the instructions say not to use them...
