Altitude correction

Just asking if it is acceptable to post a correction for altitude ET & MPH?
Has anyone done this & has not stated so in the timeslips page?

another reason i dont like LACR... you could run a 13.4 and say oh well im in the 12s. but your timeslip will always say 13.4... know what i mean? im sure some of the denver guys know all to well what im talkin about... but my guess would be its gotta be a legit time slip.

Yeah, altitude is a bitch. But I gotta say too that whats on the slip is what really matters in the end.

Yep it does suck. Try devoting tons of precious time and money only to pull off a 14.1. This is BBBOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLSSSSHHHHIIIIIITTT!!!!!! On a lighter note, Ive had probs with my turck every single time Ive gone to the track.

I thought that once your were boosted either s/c turbo or nitrous that altitude no longer had an affect, becasue you are forcing more air in??

So i think in a boost application there is no correction factos?

Correct me if im wrong?

Ive heard this as well. I cant really say its true or not being thfat I havent had my turck at sea level but I imagine that for the way my turck runs the only explanation for the times Ive displayed is altitude. My truck is alsmost always runnning perfect. My best DM time is 13.8. When it was all stock, my best DM time was 14.0. I say altitude has some kind of effect.

I ran 12.7 @ 2700+ altitude then went to Pamona Ca. 800 FT? & ran 12.29 .
Seems to be a big difference.??????
BTW... my MPH at 2700 ft was 103 & @ Pamona it was 108 .
No changes to the truck. :tup:

I also have to add that when I went to Breckenridge, I lost an ass load of power. This place is @ 9000 ft. We are @ 6000 here. So I imagine it does. My turck flet very sluggish and dead.

your still forcing a lower percent of air compared to sea level, so end result is still guna be less air density......your guna notice how much boost you getting here compared to same setups at sea level...Buddies t/c Prelude ran a sec faster in Cali compared to here.....running 15lbs here and same setup, no adjusting, was getting 19lbs there.....
