They had john Moss on last night and he stated GM will be auctioning off 75-80 of their cars in FLA. What was the milage on the TY is was sold as the lowest milage typhoon in the world.

The syclone looks like one of the ones they used with Prudhomme and a local competitor for the 'SYCLONE CHALLENGE'. Oddly enough, I still remember that episode of TRUCKIN' USA when it was on.

Interesting....

Oh yeah the dude that did that Typhoon musta been :drinking: wasnt it on egay not that long ago ???

I've got to go there tomorrow to pick up an AC unit for my '57 Chebby, I'll check on the mileage of both trucks and get back tomorrow... Plus I want to see what's under the hood of that promo Sy... Nice steering wheel though...

Hit me up with any other requests and I'll try to get 'em.

By the way, Alain de Cadenet says hi... :D

yup. I went to the syclone challeng in atlanta and I remember them well. I thought GM crushed all those trucks.

Is that really a Syclone used in the challenge races or a promotional 92 syclone? If so, how many are left? Estimated value?

Since these were the "Challenge" trucks...they have seen a ton of track time right? I'd imagine those are 7,000 HARD miles.

Wonder if they have replaced any of the drive train?

I have that Truckin USA taped, the Syclone challange. I am gonna watch it and see if I can find anything on the trucks used to tell if it could be one of them...Like maybe that 20 in the windshield..

from memory - these trucks had forged pistons in them other then that i can't tell you much more. I would have to dig thru my old notes and see if i can find some info.
