Out cruising tonight for the first time in a long time. Truck was running well for 12psi. I'm hummin along and I get next to a "nice" yellow CRX. He blew off in my ear and we caught the next light. I asked if he wanted to run it and he said yes. So I spool it up to 8psi and let it go. As I suspected, I left that fool in the dirt.
So he eventually catches up to me and gets by my side and we race from a roll. Since he got on it first it took me a second to catch him. So we hit yet another light and I say lets see you do that from a light now. He laughed and admitted he couldn't take me that way. What came next almost surprised me:roll: "when the light turns green, we will ease in to it and when we get to 20mph or so we will go for it." I told him man if you can't hook up that's your ****in problem. Best IC an do for you is not launch the truck.
So he agrees. Light turns green and I mash it, no launch as agreed, even still, by the time I got to 90 he was about 6 cars back. If that could figure out a way to get that thing to hook he might win some races.
