Build Folders - For Sale

Hi Everyone,

We finally have the Build Folders all scanned. First, I want to apologize that it has taken so long.

Purchase the build history of your truck. These are the folders that PAS put together as the they were building the motors and the trucks. The documents in the folders kept track of this assembly.

Most have trucks have 10-14 pages. The largest folder had over 50 pages.

Cost: $20 / truck

Delivery Method: We will put the files on DropBox for you to be able to download. That is, on Drop Box, we will create a folder for the truck that you purchase, and we will load all of the jpg images into the folder and email you a link where you can download them. Most folders are 5 MB to 20 MB.

You can purchase these using PayPal to my email address: opie@ameritech.net

Make certain to let me know which truck, year, and last 4 of VIN.

Please be patient after paying, as it will take us a couple days to get your specific truck loaded into DropBox (especially if there is a large rush in the first week). Once we get it loaded, you will get an email with a link to download your truck.

I will do my best to get things uploaded as fast as possible.

Yeah well you gotta minus $16000 for the SGT's then prolly .Subtract all the wrecked Sy's and Ty's and you might get $100k if anybody gave a ****, but they don't.


Those papers were only good to let us know what the colors were, and Renz got us that info for like tree-fiddy.

I bet you get like $500 at most.

See what happens when you dilly-dally for 15 years. Your laziness makes prime info into crap.

Renz got all the info for like tree-fiddy. You can get it all for FREE,right now,with a simple google search.

Good luck selling free shit.

What can you tell me, apart from this site. Google it! I don't know what is out there. You can find some awesome shit.

So what is there to know? Maybe I get a bunch of old photocopies and scanned PAS docs. I'm curious enough to pay $20. (And feeling enthusiastic as I had some beer today :tup:)

And you'll get exactly the same documents that are shown in the example I provided (just for your truck, not the example truck). This is much more info than Renz unearthed. The RPO documents are wonderful, but those are GM documents, not PAS documents. The PAS folders have much more in them. Just take a look at the example I provided and compare that to the RPO documents. The great part of the RPO docs are the color codes.

Well, it looks like cyl 2 was a POS from the factory and seeing as it was for export, they just shipped it anyway. :D Explains a lot!

Pretty amazing to see these docs. All the docs relate to the correct VIN and appear to be the PAS sheets relating to engine, turbo, prop shaft and transfer case inspections amongst other things. Lots of delivery info from places in MI including the delivery driver's name and the trucking company. Wonder if he is still alive! Facebook FTW :D

I'm not sure what I expected but this stuff is kinda cool.

17 pages. I'm just looking at it on my iPhone so may get my gf to print it all and store it with the import documents to Saudi Arabia.

Maybe someone can explain this though - it looks like it was delivered to PAS on 1-11-91. It was a 92, so released in the 92 year? I think I was delivered to Saudi Arabia on 20th December 91. Would that be about right?

Interesting stuff! $20 well spent, for me at least. Thanks Opie! :tup:
