First First this year

Finally won in the Sport Street class at Infineon last night. I've been having good races lately, finally putting it all together last night. This will be a good way to begin the trip to Las Vegas for the E.T. Finals.

My truck really likes cool weather. It was not cool last night, quite warm actually. I think we finished with temps still in the 70's. Truck was a bit slow because of that but still ran consistent 12.80 all afternoon and evening. On a "normal" cool Infineon evening I'd be down in the high 12.6's. I expect because of the temps Las Vegas will be in the low 13's. That will be OK as long as I can find a sweet spot and keep her there.

I think I said I've never raced anywhere but Infineon so this will be a big adventure if nothig else. We leave Next Thursday.

Thanks everyone.

First, I've already corrected Jim, our announcer and the guy who posts the results. Thanks for the history lesson he says. AFA the race is concerned and the margin of victory. Look at my ET and speed. I was on the brakes. Normally I trap around 105 and if I'd have kept my foot in it I might have broke out. I had him around 1000'. Jeff's a nice kid and the other two finalist are friends as well. It was a fun night.

Knowing what I'm doing can be debated... :rotf: But normally I'm the quicker dial so I do a lot of chasing.

I'm real excited about going to LV. BTW 92TyLA, it's next week. I arrive on the 29th. I think the basic schedule is on their web site. Come on by. I just have no clue where to tell you to look. Although the teams should all be together. Look for Infineon.

Couple of grandma's grand-kids race at Infineon all the time. In motorcycles. ;-)
