When I worked at Honda, we use to be able to put in the VIN and it would tell us which dealer the Honda was sold at new. I tried contacting a GMC dealer to do the same for my Sy and he said his computer system did not provide that information. Is there anyway for me to know? I have already run a Car Fax and it shows the first owner to be out of Virginia but that is all I can find.
