You would hit the cladding first...In order to do it he's going to have to do a body drop i think. I am not sure how many in, though.

I think it would be badass!!! I want to lower my SY even more than it is now but haven't decided the way to go yet? scrapin's SY is , in my opinion,(hater's) one of the best looking SY's out there. Do it and make a "how to" while in the process so when I decide to do it, I can follow how you guys did it!

some junk i have laying around..lol.

i know i wont be able to drag, cause ill destory the cladding, so ill just get long titanium blocks and shoot some sparks out the back:). my ty isnt perfect, unlike some of your guys trucks. it has its normal wear and tear and bad spots. hell its just a s10 frame, not like i cant get another one.

ill probably do a setup very simialr to scrape n clones sy. ill use the torsion bars for the front and a normal bag setup in the rear. maybe ill shorten the rear end some and also the front arms..idk, depends if i want to put alot of extra time in it.

funny to see how we all think different.. i have coilovers on my sy and think it's to low for street driving. other ones are just wanting it to be as low as you can go.
i love seeing low cars. i say good luck! and post pics!

thanks for the encouragement everyone!!!!

the pic of the 64 in my advatar is a photoshop i had someone on here (cant remember who) make for me. if i can get my 64 to look like that, ill be happy. i wish i was that far done with it.

i guess i could make a project thread but ill throw some pics of it up on here for a sec.

i got bored one day and i decided to throw some wheels and tires underneath it and see what it would look like done. this just give me an idea what it will hopefully look like..

Before: when i first got it...it was a roller, i allready took the rear end out when i took this pic.

Whatever! Do what ya want :lol:! Personally, it's refreshing to see *something* different for a change. I'm the opposite, if I had the means to do it I would get the BIGGEST wheels that I could get under a syclone. Mike Lee was on the right track with his DONK project but, I would have liked to see bigger wheels... Of course, I couldn't settle for stock power :p! I would like to have enough power on tap to spank any haters provided that I could get the rubber band tires to hook that is :lol:.

If anything it would need a body lift to make the truck hit frame before cladding, if you want to ride low and such you could build drag bars just below the cladding and traditional body drop the truck around it to keep better suspension geometry.

Also the bagged sy has custom upper control arms and modified lower to clear the cv shafts.

I say try and re work the frame in the front accommodate for a shockwave type setup, this way it will handle like a coil over but still go up and down.

otherwise watched the progress on your impala and it is badass, keep everyone posted.:tup:

im gonna bag it. im gonna start in a few weeks here. ill make a project thread on it. im going to make it lay cladding and i have a couple titanium blocks im goning to put under it. so yes its gonna see sparks and drag and destroy....lol

does anyone make fiberglass cladding for just over the wheels?? im looking for the front fender cladding and the rear wheel arch cladding.
