Typhoon Clone Value

Hey guys,
Let me first start out by saying I have always wanted a Syclone. Every once and while I would look online for a Sy/Ty but most of them were high mileage or out of my price range.

About 6-7 months ago I came across of a Typhoon clone( i think the same car I am considering now) and he was asking 2,000 (I think) and it sold before I could get over there.

The Ty I am looking at is described as
"my baby for sale.needs small work but is daily driven right now!just did plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, starter, alternator, fron t brakes, front shocks, idler arm, pitman arm, radiator, electric fan,had t case rebuilt.i am sure a whole lot more. truck is fast and very fun to dive!does not leak or burn anything!just put a set of c4 corvette sawblade wheels on it. 87 blazer body and title any only 75000 miles "

I talked to the owner for a few minutes and said some of the body kit pieces are missing, some reust on the body, and he still has the orginal wheels. Because it is a clone it would be great as a winter car because my turbo cobalt isn't that good in the snow and my chevelle only gets driven in the summer.

The owner is asking $4300.
Whats it worth? (In your opnion?)

Thanks

Re: Typhoon Clone Value

I am not used to these upside down threads.

IMO its not worth 4,000. Personally I was thinking 2500-2800 tops
It is a blazer, rust, some issues, no radio.

You can change that in your user options, FYI.

I would agree with you on the price. The only value its got is any typhoon related piece and the rims, the rest is basically worthless. Even then, I would question paying more than 2000 tops for that particular truck. :2cents:

If even that, considering what Warmpancakes says about it.

Re: Typhoon Clone Value

Thanks for the help everyone. It looks like I won't have the AWD mod just yet. A Sy/TY will always have a special place in my heart.

Thanks for the tip. I would think the valuable pieces would also include the engine/turbo, transfer casem axles etc. I really want an AWD vehicle, I have thought how trick it would be to make my chevelle AWD. But reality set in and it would require too much time, research and money.

You have a CLONE !? Tell us about it... !

Does it have the ground effects and everything ? or just the Sy/Ty "guts" ?
