Does this log show why my idle is high ?

I just made a tunerpro log and only let my sy idle . I did tap the throttle twice so see if the rpms would drop and they seemed to dip a little but it went right back up to 3k and holds steady .

Basically just seeing if theres any hidden info that could indicate where i should start looking . The truck starts good and does run good at the 3k . Ive set the distribtor and verified timing numerous times .Double checking each time read 0* with the tan wire unplugged, and per the tunerpro dash i believe it was 30.23 timing with the tan hooked back up .

The vac is at or around 14 while high idleing and honestly im stumped . Ive been going from small issue to small issue and this is where im at . Any help is appreciated

How did you upload it to Code59? I want to see what happened to it.

Fixed Link on code59... Not sure why .adl won't work. It is a file type allowed to be downloaded. I zipped it up and fixed the link so it works now for download from the post you made there.

the second bin in this thread is what my truck likes best . this condition happens with all the 75# bins ive tried .

just to try something i removed my i/c to tb pipe and it made no difference .i unplugged my iac and made sure the connection was good but no dice .

fun fun:squint::rotf:

I'm sure you've got the correct wideband selected?? Some of the starter BINs used to have two widebands selected... probably not it, but just a thought.

Re: Does this log show why my idle is high ?

Have to looked at the table for the desired idle?

I am having problems when I hook up the aldl cable up it make the desired idle from 800 to 1200 when i plug in the aldl cable to data log even if the cable is not connected to the computer it jumps the rpms up too 1200 and when I look in turnerpro the desired idle is 1200.

If anyone has any ideas on why it is doing this that would be great thanks.

I can post the bin it is a 60lb injector bin

My Moates.net Xtreme usb aldl cable does this if you move the little switch over to the "10k" position.. that 10k position is mainly only for c4 corvettes because they needed a resistor inline on there aldl cables

10k resistor = ALDL mode.

You have entered the elite ALDL racing club. Welcome.

Kings desired idle is showing 600, IAC still open for some reason the ecm is not in Idle mode thinking.

Re: Does this log show why my idle is high ?

Trying some other suggestions today i unhooked my speed sensor in the case , and power to my tci tcu . previously i was showing mph at idle sitting still so maybe that problem was in the drivetrain somehow .

no dice.

letting it run again , still idling at 3200 , i was scratching my head and looking around the motor . feeling around the vac lines on the manifold i heard a hissing when i ran my hand by the back . looked closer and i saw this .

so i did this

now it runs like this
http://www.mediafire.com/file/tqddynoy42h/march2509.adl

it starts up good , idles at 900 , is a little rich, and is ready for the road . I cant wait to start some real datalogging and tuning as soon as i fix my trans pan gasket leak and fill up . that open hole was left by me when i swapped my vac lines around last week .

a vac leak was suggested to me but i assured them i had thoroughly checked all that .im deff keeping my day job

Hey call me still there is something I want to go over with you and it would be easier than typing it all out. Glad you found the main problem though
