What A/R on your turbine housing?

It's just a six

Just a general question,

I am wondering what size A/R you guys are running w/a single turbo,& what stall do you need to use w/your turbine A/R .

C.M. & numbers like.63,.84, 1.14 etc...

Post em up!

Thanks

I'll start T3 12 CM housing 2100 stall. I would not go any bigger,w/a 2100 stall.

stock motors use .63 and modded motor depending on head flow .84 or .96 A/R. 1.14 is pretty big unless you have a bowtie block with big head flow #'s.

I was using a .84 on my GT35R but was getting too much back pressure do to the heads and exhaust system (headers) so i went to a PTE74 with .96 a bit of lag but it worked just fine and was alot more power on less boost since no back pressure.

I have a Turbonetics T76 Q trim Ball Bearing turbo with a .96 AR on the hot side. I had this turbo on the 4.3 and it spooled ok with a 3500 stall, but now with the 6.0 it spools nice and quick and until i do better heads and intake it shouldnt be a restriction.

I did have a TE45A on a built motor and brodix heads. The A/R was way to small. Now I plan on going with a 67HPQ with a billet wheel and a .85 A/R. These should be perfect for my needs. I'm running a stall somewhere in the 3,500 range.

Can you explane what you mean by getting too much back pressure with GT35R ?
