GM didn't put 5 speeds behind 350 with the TPI because they couldn't handle it, they sure weren't going to put behind with AWD and more output.

thanks alot guys this guy around my way tried to school me and say there was a stock 5 speed and i didnt think they had a 5 speed.but i guess he thinks his friends truck is a ty.far away from my truck he thought it was a clone but as soon as he got up close he put his foot in his mouth like a bitch.

I am SO happy to have a turbo vehicle with an automatic. Makes everything a lot easier than launching with a 2-step to create boost imo ---

i had a guy swear up and down on the cb radio one day that gn's came twin turbo only. i told him about my dads 87 and the 10 sec. one that by brother had, and he swore the were both fake gn's with just 3.8 regal motors and a single turbo... JAG OFF

Just yesterday I had a guy in a car next to me tell me, "I havent seen one of those in forever, I used to own one... it came with a Corvette engine". He was so excited to see the Ty (and obviously clueless)that I did not have the heart or the time (late for work) to correct him. I just waved and shook my head.

Some people are just dumb.I have a 68 mustang that is a california special people ask me all the time is it a Shelby or say Shelby didn't make a coupe.A twin turbo gn is kinda funny tho.The monte carlo did have a turbo for like 3 years and it was slower then a gn.
