no dash lights

I bought my 93 Typhoon without the dash lights working. It had indiglo gauges installed which I removed. I don't know what if anything needs to be discontected when the indiglos were installed. Does anybody know where I should start looking

Re: no dash lights

If no dash lights work i would check the dimmer wheel on the head light switch first...........maybe a fuse??

Ya, it's got a Turbo
Re: no dash lights

Fuses first. Do your exterior parking lights work? The dash lights are fed power from their circuit. Switch is a likely problem also....

Re: no dash lights

exterior parking lights are fine and the dimmer wheel still turns on the overhead lights. I'll check the fuses again. Maybe I just missed one.

Re: no dash lights

Your overhead lights are a separate circuit. You could still have a bad dimmer. Don't overlook it.

Re: no dash lights

I did have the same problem with my Grand National when I first got it. The dash lights kept blowing the fuse so I replaced the headlight switch and it was fine. Now all I have to do is find a good replacement headlight switch and dimmer.

What do you mean the needles work but the gauges don't? The needle IS the gauge.

As for your dome light, you don't turn it off. Your '99 had a BCM (Body Control Module). Your Sy/Ty isn't that modern.
