i used the lower only from a junkyard and mated it to my factory rubber.
are you coming to nats??? truck???

i believe that i googled jeep cherokee steering shaft, and something like jeep 4x4 country came up.
the one pictured is from a jeep wrangler. here you go...

Would you guys recomend buying these new? There are quite a few on ebay for pretty cheap but they look like they aren't exactly brand new. I'm just wondering because I don't think my exhaust manifolds are going to clear that rather large upper joint on the stock steering shaft.

Mine wasnt new and works fantastic. i know the 2nd 3rd 4th listing on your link are excatly what i got. there is a plastic stop that just snaps on the lower half that you can just pop off with a screwdriver and it will collapse more than far enough for installation and still leaves plenty engages once its opened up and bolted in. i payed 30 bucks for mine and i have no complaints at all.
as far as hitting your manifolds i dont know, but it clears my atr headers with plenty of room to spare...
