Re: fuel additive

bg chemicals 44k is fantastic for cleaning the whole intake track. injectors, valves, etc. I dont think you will find too many really good cleaners that add octane though...

Re: fuel additive

OK folks I've learned of this stuff:

Lubro Molly inj cleaner, and
Lubro Molly valve cleaner

4th and 1st items on this page (for example):

Anyway, I've run this stuff through all three of my vech. '97 Avalon, the Sy and my '86 325 Bimmer. Maybe some improvement but hard to tell, EXCEPT the Bimmer. Now we're talking 20 year old car with 210k miles. It made a VERY noticeable difference. I was surprised. Most of the time you pour something in and the only thing that changes is the weight of your wallet. This stuff worked on that car. Smother idle, better throttle response, measurable better mileage. (Even that old Bimmer has a mileage computer!)

Take it or leave it but I'm sold, at least with what it did to that car.

Re: fuel additive

if you want to clean your injecters, use a preasurized injecter cleaner that comes in a kit...i think gm has them. may want to do some TEC while your at it.

Re: fuel additive

well i did a search for Xylene and may go that route when i want more pep or may run 104 from local airport. but instead of cleaning my injectors (80k miles onthem) I will just save up for 50Lbs injectors from one of the vendors on this site.
