eveytime I start the ty. it idles @ rpm's for A few seconds. I know it is not good for it with the oil being cold & all. is there any fix to it to make it idle A little lower on startup?

Thanks!

normal, they all idle high for min when you first start it up, i think even more so if its cold out

Re: high idle at start up?

The idle spike, IIRC, is intended to get oil flowing up to the turbo ASAP, to keep if from spinning unlubed

could you put magnatec oil in that helps on starts?
Not sure on that one... I think it might be easier to put a shut off in the turbo return line, so when you stop the truck it closes and holds whatever oil is up in the turbo in the turbo
