It's for sale, actually there is a deposit on it. The current owner apparently has lots of nice cars(viper,mustangs ext) from what I can tell. The appearence "looks" really nice. I've looked at past posts by the previous owner xxlolxx, but apparently many of his posts are missing. Would this truck be a fair deal @ $15,000? Was the motor rebuilt? It seems like xxlolxx was pretty hard on the truck from what I've read. Still looking..... :( Thanks. Ross

From what I remember back in the day, is the fact that he didn't get along to well with the board and there was lots of tension. Truck was a low mileage truck when he had it. I remember one of the doors needing body work at sometime. I also remember it needing a motor after he had it too, but I don't know if that was true or not. One of the other members that remembers more might be able to chime in.

Which truck is this and where is it located? I currently have a deposit on a Syclone and the inspection report leads me to believe it might be this truck... The owner seems aweful nice though.

Nothing was wrong with the truck when I sold it I could not make the Insurance payments and so on any more....Is what pretty much happen So then I sold the Truck and Now I am a United States Marine Stationed in Okinawa with my 03 cobra sitting at home....The only thing that was wrong with the truck was before i sold it some one had kicked in the Passenger door, pretty big dent which i had fixed, and a mark on the front right Bumper. and that was about it. Only other things i could see wrong with it was Pinging from the Shit bull chip....just to let all u old school guys know...

Jimmy... I am the person with the deposit on the truck... Can you give me an proximate time line of when you sold the truck and the mileage when you sold it?

I never had it,xxlolxx (Trevor) did.
I know nothing about it,other than what's been posted.

From what I remember,the kid sold it with less than 15k miles on it.

Now I don't know if this is true,but it is interesting:

thats 5 minutes from me. does anyone know if the truck was on ebay awhile back? if its the one im thinking it was, from the pics it looks like a great truck.

yes, it was on E-bay a month or two ago. Someone should check it out. Pay special attention to the passengers door for body work( poor body work). Don't know about how to check for (poor) engine work :squint: let us know.

Like I said... I had the truck inspected and it didn't turn up anything significant. The left door was thought to have been worked on and there is a scrape on the front bumper. Interested to see what a SyTY guy would think when they got a look at it though, I'll see if the owner is willing to let someone else look at the truck and get back to you guys...

I remember that truck, he was a stupid high kid. It seems like the last time he post this year was still hadn't grown up. I think he bought it with 9K miles. He would post about it pinging, which everyone told him to put in a new fuel pump. His next post would be about racing it.

I remember the first couple of time it went on ebay (around 2002) their was something fishy about the auctions. I want to say it seemed like he was schill bidding it and someone how a family member was relisting it.

Just called Rusty... My father will be buying the Syclone from him. Figures regardless of the history of the truck, the deal is too good to pass up for such a low mileage truck :tup: . THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR THEIR HELP/INPUT!!! :D
