Rebuilding topend, parts and #'s?! ---

The heads already have springs and valves installed from McCoy, l35's.

Ok, so I am using 3/8" 1.6 crane gold r.r's for the 3/8 studs, and getting Victor Reinz headgaskets and the gasket kit from RPM.

I have a NEW set of Comp cca-850 roller lifters (got them for my 96z28 lt1), they fit right?

So that leaves me with pushrods....do I go for some Comp Cams ones, with the 5/16 in diameter and 7.8" length?! Thanks ---

Sorry , I found that they are 7.195" length 5/16 diameter after doing some more research. Comp part #7808 if anyone else needs it (for the cheap ones) Thanks ---

Would it hurt to go 7.150 or 7.2 length instead of the 7.195? I figure McCoy has milled the heads down a little?! Thanks ---

I would call McCoy and ask. In fact he proably would hook you up with what you need. Jerry is a great guy and ALWAYS willing to help a SY/TY 'ers .

I would get 7.2's and check them. You want to make sure they are in the range of roller (on the rocker), through full sequence of opening and closing of the valve. You really want check on the valve train geometry on any rebuild or swap of valvetrain components.
