i was coming home to day and floored it, and the boost went past the normal, like it over boost, and like it wanted to bogged down, like fluttering only when i floor it, but before i use to floor, and it would take off like a bat of hell, and the boost wouldnt even go to 15lbs, but now when i floor it take off fine for about a second or two and then the needle goes past 15lbs and boogs and flutters just wonder what it could be, is it over boosting or what thanks for any info appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!

Stop over boosting it until you find out the problem and get it fixed.. I'd do what was mentioned above plus adjust your wastegate.. I used to have to re adjust my wastegate every year when it started getting really cold out on the stock turbo or i'd have the same problem.

first off all, did it shut off and flashes check engine ...
... did you pull code 31 ??

if not, read this :

had similar probs in the past, turned out one time it was the ignition(-module, wires, plugs, ...), the other time it was a fueling problem (fuelpump dead, clogged fuelfilter, ...)
just my :2cents:


how old are those items in your truck ?
does fuelpress rise with boost ?
did you ever blow a fuse ?
any mods done ?

stop toasting your engine till you worked it out ;)

thanks everybody, and yes everything on this truck is stock to the motor and exhaust but i will check everything, and thanks by the way i do machine work in a machine shop i bore blocks, valve jobs and have done port :tup: and polish, personal heads, long blocks and short blocks all types of machine work!!!!!!!!! :tup:
