I found a 4.3 engine swap kit for it today...you know what that means. There could be a possible typhoon setup going in it when the original motor goes out.

It's my uncles, but it should be mine. I'm the only one that drives it :tup: 360 engine and 4 speed manual make it fun too

I frequented "vietnam" when i was at college along with lots of other trails around Boston/Scituiate
northeast trails were a blast, lots of rocks and trees to destroy paint jobs and undercarriages.:tup:

Yeah...I've got a very custom Cj-8 Scrambler thats awaiting some final paint......SOMEDAY
Its got everything new with 33x15.50's s-spoke wheels,leather seats and door panels,Stainless exhaust,3" stainless bars all around,dual tube bumpers,Warn 8000,fresh 258 with Holley Pro-jection etc.
The whole Jeep has this Bear paw theme throughout.Seats and steering wheel, have the paw embroidered on them.The center caps of the wheels I even dremeled the paw there too !lol.
Her Scrambler letters on the side of the hood is even spelled "SCRAMBEAR". :lol:
I'm ate up with everything I do,it seems ?

i would LOVE to have a cj7 for the summer months, but they get shitty gas milage and are a pain in the arse to restore.. that and no matter what you put into them you rarely see any money when you sell them.
my favorite one was a 360v8 with a 3 speed manual.. I did wheelies no problem.

That Holley Projection has a decent fuel adj. for economy that can be cabin quick adjusted....or a performance setting for offroad excursion HP. Made a BIG difference over carbed or stock Injection mileage.
Of course I did all this LONG before Mega Squirt of today.....which would be better,I'm sure.
And..SMAUG.....the girls at the campsite LOVE the Cuddly Bear around campfire time !! :tup: :lol:

My favorite was my '65 Kaiser CJ5. F-head Hurrican four banger, 3 spd, 5.67s in the axels, 35" Mickey Thompsons and an 8,000 lb Ramsey PTO. The thing has so many levers inside it confused anyone who looked at it. Had that one while I lived in Wyoming. GREAT off-roading out there.
