Damn 3-wheel bastiges.....VW's 3-wheel like that ALOT. I've seen a rabit lift it's back tire OVER a cone before......I've supposedly lifted a rear on my '00 Xtreme. Although thats what I've been told, I've yet to see a picture of it.


Looks like the Sy did OK. What pressure were you running in those tires though? Please tell me more than the standard 35-40psi? I crank mine up to about 55-60psi depending on track conditions. It'll help ALOT with that tire rolling over. Otherwise looks like the trucks doing OK. I'm guessing you have a little bit of a push in the corners? If so, try disconnecting the front sway bar (or getting a stiffer rear bar) to get that rear end a little looser.

hard turning...its not uncommon to lift the rear inside wheel on a stock suspension vehicle

That's a ST 185 alltrac. Turbo AWD, but not many made, so not a lot of aftermarket support :tdown:

The kid in the Celica is a nutcase. He's kinda wierd, I guess.

I'm running a 10 year old set of Yokohama A-008R's (they were free, I might add). I usually run them around 35 psi, since they are R-compound, and run a much stiffer sidewall than any street tire. On street tires (e.g. My old F1 GS-D3's, or my present KDW's), I was floating around 40 psi. You know, if you increase your pressures too much, sure it won't roll over as much, but your contact patch shrinks down bigtime. I've had pretty good luck with what I'm running right now. The truck stays pretty neutral. It pushes alittle more if I have the bed cover on the back. It loosens up with it off. I took 2nd place in that event, 1st in the first event. I'm barely holding the lead by like half a point in the standings.

Since we're a smaller club than the regional SCCA, we run our own classes, instead of SCCA classes. I'm running in Large Sedan (LS).
