Refinished front cladding

My uncle works for a body shop (and he's gooood).

my cladding had many scrapes, and scratches, as well as 2 large imperfections.

he patched it with some poly-whatever stuff so that it didnt lose any elasticity.

9 coats of black lacquer/flex-flat.

(the specs on the new bumper are just bugs)

apparently the flex has to have no dust or imperfections at all, cause you cant denib it, so he sprayed it upside down, so no dirt could settle on it.

he attempted 2 times to paint it, the 1st he had to strip it back down and start over again, but the second came ot good.

he did it in his spare time, took about 6 days.




BTW, Rob, looks like we have close to the same mods, how much boost were you running when you went 13.17 ??
