Hello all. I am on to my next project. The much talked about Hydro-boost set-up. As of right now I have put together a bolt-on kit for our trucks. I just finished up the installation and it looks GREAT. I am going to be about to offer the kit for around $225-$250. I am also looking into braided lines so the lines can snake where ever people need them depending on what other mods they have added. I have included a few pics and it shows the basic set-up. I do not have ABS or Cruse control so it will look a little different if you are still all stock over there in that area. I also have my inner fenders out as well for ease of installation :D

I will update this thread as I get more pics and add little things to the kit. Also I took these pics before I coated the master cylinder so don't think you will get a primered piece :)

why did you not use the stock pump or master cylinder? these new units or used and cleaned?
how do you go about testing the unit to see if they all work properly before sent out if they are used?

To make the kit cheaper you can use the stock pwr steering pump/ resevoir . It will also eliminate the need for this . I made a write up in the vault on whats needed for ss hydro boost lines if you want to go braided .

I bought the 700$ one and hate how close the braided line sits to the crank pully/dp. Not quite sure how else I can route it..

this is the astro unit? and the measurement for the brake eyelet was same as stock or did you have to do anything for the rod to work?

Kit looks great!

Just a note. It looks like you are using the astrovan master cly. I used this on mine and was able to use the stock plastice res. I liked the look of the stock res better.

Also if people want a trick set up you can get a wilwood master instead now that bolts up and has the 7/8's cly instead of the 1.25 for a more stock pedel feel.

Nolan, After testing more, I went back with the stock pump and eliminated the upper reservoir. I have it working great now and was holding a 25.8 PSI launch last night at the track :) Finally have everything worked out except for better lines (Stainless) Works great through

Thanks
John
