Are there problems with the server again? I've received two different PM notifications from members this week only to find no PM's in my inbox.

nope, no problems with our server. any problems reguarding e-mail or PM notification are because of the uses service provider or e-mail provider filtering out messages as spam. Why you would be getting e-mails and not having PMs, thats somewhat of a mystery. Check the e-mail and see if its dated in the e-mail itself or if the date in the heading is older than todays date, but that would be a service provider issue as well.

Wow, that IS odd. The PM notice I received on 8/27 is dated sent on 8/15 and the one I received 9/3 is dated sent on 7/24. And you say that is a delay with the ISP? As I look back I remember reading the corresponding PM's on those dates but never received a notification from them.

if the date of the e-mails you received were a little closer in date I would possibly see it as a "burp" in our server or when an update was being installed, but since they were close to 3 weeks apart, I really have no definate answer for you, but I can say Ive had similar situations happen myself with messages from other forums and it doesnt seem to be a common occurance.Tommyquest said:
