Best Intake Manifold Gasket?????

Just wondering if someone can shed the light about the best intake gasket i can find for my Typhoon. I need the kit immediately!! Ummm..I got a lil bit of blue smoke seeping from the back of my intake manifold. Along with oil seepage. So, iam pretty damn sure i have a blown intake manifold gasket which is making my engine run like shit. I heard that there is a new metal type gasket being used?? True? Both Napa and Autozone have gaskets with sealant in a kit(for the ends), instead of end gaskets/seals.

that kit should be fine if you put the sealant on right. small block have used the same setup for a long time. there's a rope gasket you can put there but it sucks, rtv is the way to go

I did mine using the black RTV on the ends, no leaks. Just make sure everything is CLEAN and dry. Try to find the tightening sequence and torque. Otherwise I can send it to ya. (Not in front of me at the moment.) After torquing the bolts go have lunch, then come back and double check everything.

Just order mine from Mike Hood at Tucker Auto Parts.. Here the part number and what come with it.. MS16154 - Includes upper plenum gasket, lower intake gaskets, a distributor gasket, and a small tube of silicone.

MS16154 = $39.99+ shipping...
