water pump

Well I got off work today at 3:00pm and I walk to the ty and see a puddle of coolant under it. I was like wtf so I look underneath and its dripping allot so I run home and find out it’s my water pump
And I changed it out by 5:00... yea I know... im a bad ass :rotf:
Just thought I would share this with you all haha

i dno what time i got home but i had to go to my buddies shop because he had the new pum so i dno i think it took 25-30 min to change out

Mine is still out, haven't decided whither to pull the rad and have it cleaned or not. The old pump did come out easy though. Lot better than some of the stuff on these trucks. Did ya use a factory rebuild or ??. Interestingly mine only sort of failed. Normally they fail like yours but mine just started seeping and never got any worse. Weird.

yea it was easy. yea it never leaked till today but it was leaking bad. no it was an acdelco brand new pump

mines still off but my engine is on a stand so its a five minute chore to change

thats effing sweet, i wish everything was that easy on these trucks!!!
