subscriptions not working

I havent been getting any emails from the forum for updates on my subscribed threads I get emails from other forums its just this one thats not working any help is greatly appreciated

Mine hasn't worked for months either. I tried changing the option in the user cp, save & change back, but still no workie.

edit: I get emails now, too. I think I may have figured it all out.

Go to subscriptions
check box next the predetermined thread
go to bottom of page and from the drop downmenu, "selected threads" , select instant notification
click go

I have been getting emails for thread replys and PM notifications.

I checked mine. Some were instant, some daily. My email addy is correct, yet still, no notices.

Just to try out what you did I went and changed all in my first 3 pages to instant to see if that makes a difference.

Same here.
I went in & deleted ALL of my subscriptions, made sure that I had "instant email notification" selected & correct email address, still no workie.

What's up with that?

I just got an instant email notification, but only one. There should have been more.:dizzy:

We are digging into it but it seems to be kind of hit or miss.

When I sign up for them I get them all so its hard to troubleshoot.
Morgan is gonna dig deeper into the code but maybe resetting all of your subscription settings will take care of it.

I know this board has gone through multiple upgrades and if you are one of the OGs then your account has been through multiple migrations.
None of the newer users seem to have this problem.

My trial and error says mine works fine, although I typically do not subscribe to threads.

I already deleted all of my subsciptions to start fresh last week.

I am thinking about banning you and then reinstating you and see if that clears anything out.

Just for trial and errors sake, nothing personal

I am in the admin user group so my permissions are completely different than any else's.
And I don't use the feature diligently enough to say it works for me every time.
It just worked on all the threads i tested.

the only syty.net notices i get are of HotRodV6's ebrake thread. anything else i gon't get an email :dunno:.

What is the email address that subscription replys come from I'd like to add it to my address book to see if its Yahoo thats blocking those emails

I changed my email addy to my work & still no go. So it's not a SPAM filter problem.
