Tach Signal WIre?

Wondering if anyone knows which wire that come out the back of the distrubtor gives the signal to the I/P for the tach? .

white wire on coil will give you a tach signal

thanks. That is what I though becasue that is how my lt1 was I just could not remember and was having a brain fart.
