You have your own pipe bender at home? I am starting to feel alittle envy right now. Shoot, I want one too. I love tools... Sorry just thinking out loud. Continue please.

securedownload-5-1.jpg

lowering and pushing back the engine. not going to run the stock manifolds anymore. i will be building headers. i just need to weld up the passenger motor mount and change the tranny mount i just finished. if anyone is wondering i am running the stock frame side motor mounts. I just made new ones that bolt to the motor. All mounts are solid too.

Be sure to double check that you have prop shaft and U-joint clearance in the area indicated. Your new part seems a bit tight in this area.

I admire your drive. Keep it going.............

what are your plans for radiator and fans?

i havent figured those out yet. i will have very little room because my engine is father forward. Ill mess with that when the time comes.

Check with Current Performance. Jarred's got a radiator / condenser setup that fits into the core support with minimal mod's. Not sure if it'll work for your application or not (or your budget), but something to look at. I haven't used the radiator setup personally, but I'm considering it.

Is it me or are we seeing more and more LS1/LSx swaps in here, almost to the point where it doesn't make sense to do the V6 upgrades/builds anymore? :D

Nice work, very encouraging and very interesting. Well done and good luck with the finished product!

his setup is nice but a bit pricey. im gonna run a universal one.

pulled the tranny crossmember today. got to redo it to match the new motor mounts. put in the wiring harness and ran some battery lines also. ordered all the exhaust stuff for the headers, crossover, and down pipe.

tubing stuff, turbo, wastegate, bov, and stuff from summit $2200

build total $6312:drinking: not that bad for what ive done

I just junked a 64 and a 65. I do still have a little bit of parts left from them. I am also working on a 53 on a s10 fram bagged. 18x10 rear and 18x8 front. But I think my loves are the 64-66.
