Just got done installing the top grille insert from turrrbo6 and it adds a nice touch to the engine bay and fits great. Also installed new hood struts from Phil being the old ones where not holding the hood up any longer after 8 years. It seems the new hood struts are more heavy duty. I recommend both items.

I added one of these fillers as well. As well as looking good, they keep tools from falling into the abyss!

What if some idiot leans on it and snaps it? Anything could happen.

edit: Nice engine bay! Are the intercooler and intake man polished?

Thanks guys for all your comments. I plan on taking off the rod being that my old hood struts lasted 8 years with no problem. Yes, my dad had everything polished some years ago before he gave me the truck.

i've had the hood struts on both my trucks for nearly 6 years now and never had a problem, one of the best upgrades a guy could do......great engine bay BTW

just sent away for my grill insert can't wait to put that in. who sells the hood struts?

I really have got to install my insert. I've only had it for something like 6 months or so.
