    I have never used a molded "heater" hose.

    Some one I knew, put two nickels (one near each bolt) behind the waster gate mounting bracket and raised the stock boost about 3 psi.

    That sounds a little strange, you truck will start with a boost pack, but not with jumper cables. Do you have quality cables, at least 8 guage?

    Have you checked the voltage touching the battery posts and then only touching the cable terminals? If they are badly corroded, there will be a difference in voltage.

    I have an OEM ECM, with an aftermarket, multiple program, tuneable chip. But, I don't have a Sy/Ty wiring harness.

    I still check in occasionally, although after having my Sy for 31 years, I sold it in Aug. I will be selling some parts after the first of the year.

    Yes, like DaveP said. I do have a shift kit also. I have a mod govnor also, shifts at 6k. I have a 3" down pipe into a 3" cat (fake) into a 3" muff, into 2 2.5" tail pipes, all stainless. I have zero backpressure at 16 lbs boost.

    Bored, cam, 50Lb inj, ported stock heads, 44/63 turbo, 2800 stall @ 16lbs boost and a Turbo Time tune. 7.52 @ 92.35 mph

    My best 60' (1.63) time was on the stock 16's with the 245/50's.
