Re: pics of my sy #2695
I just bought some exhaust gasket material from the parts store and made one. I don't remember the part number. I also made the gasket for the turbo mount as well since I have ported exhaust manifolds and exhaust housing on the turbo no other gaskets work.
Re: pics of my sy #2695
My project is making some progress installed the battery in the bed of the truck and ran all the battery cables. Installed the carpeted bed liner and also installed some aluminum spacers in the carpet for the battery box to sit on when it is bolted down and doesn't...
Re: pics of my sy #2695
Started to work on the sy some more getting some more thing checked off the to do list. Started on redoing the exhaust and installing v-band clamps and a flex joint in since the engine is solid mounted and the exhaust is not will help reducing some unwanted vibrations...
Re: pics of my sy #2695
Finished up the rear diff and rear brakes. I reinstalled the diff back into the truck , but I still have to get the sway back on. Then I bench bled the Wilwood master cylinder then installed the porpotioning valve and finished installing the unit onto the hydraboost.

Assembled the 8.5 rear diff.
Installed the exhaust manifolds and turbo and made a -10an drain line
Painted the Mag-Hytec 4l80e pan to...
Re: pics of my sy #2695
I also installed my front Wilwood brakes. I went with a 14" kit for a 1998-2002 camaro and used Renzfab adapters. Also had to mod the steering knuckles a bit to get them to fit right.
Re: pics of my sy #2695
I disassembled the diff and found that the front outer pinion bearing was trashed and spun on the the pinion. The race luckily never spun in the housing. Needless to say now I had a good excuse to do a entire rebuild and make it new to match the rest of the truck. I...
