Just to update: Truck is running beautifully (as it used to). Turns out after replacing nearly every sensor that is was the ECM that went bad. Popped in a new one and wallah, she purrs like a kitten with the new ATR SS exhaust. Derek

The electrical problem has been fixed. Just missed a wire connected to the alternator. Yup. A black wire had managed to hide itself between the valve cover and engine. Thanks for the suggestions guys. At least I learned what a fusible link was out of all of this. dcwik
