Re: Exhaust manifold bolts Thanks guys, I ended up getting cap screws because every local store would have to order header bolts.

I am trying to find some bolts for my exhaust manifold: They are 3/8-16 X 1.25, but any bolt I get from the hardware store has to big of a head on it to clear the exhaust tubes. I thought about using cap screws, but I don't want them to break off in the head if they aren't hard enough...
