Since I installed a set of vortec heads (ported and polished) and new cam (comp cams 422) My turbo has started overboosting to 25 pounds of boost. What could be the cause of this. Truck runs fine except for that. It has the stock turbo for now I will be replacing this in the future.

How much boost can you run on a stock turbo with 93 octane gas before detonation?

My intercooler hose keeps coming off under boost, any suggestions? Also I installed a new cam ( comp cams 510 lift) and vortec heads ported and polished with 205 & 160 valves. What should my timing be. Need some help.
