Deception,

Do you have a Video of your Launch with the 2step? I noticed my Brake lights are still on after I let off. I'd like to hook up the 2step to the brake switch if their was some way to release the brake pedal quicker. Or another good idea is hooking it up to the Cruise control switch and using a Line Lock.

Just make sure you put another switch inline to turn it off while your just driving around then on when you need to use it.

Thats right, didnt want to launch everytime:)

Which 2 step did you took?
I have all the MSD stuff and thought about an MSD 2Step rev limiter or maybe Sold my MSD 6al an buy another Ignition Box with a 2step inside

I have the MSD 6al2 ignition box. I set my first limit just below the stock limit and then set my second to max rpm my brakes will hold.

This is what I have and where I got it

Re: 2 Step rev limiter question

I couldn't do that on my Sy. Sounds weird I know but releasing the brakes did NOT immediately open the brake light circuit. Result I was leaving with the 2step still activated. Although very brief it was enough to screw things up. Somewhere I've even got a photo of me leaving (truck is obviously launching) the green is on and my brake lights are still on.

I built a simple clamp that attaches to the steering wheel with a launch button. It's removed when I'm not at the strip. I'll post a pic if you'd like. Works quite well.

Had the same problem, but it was much better than me trying to do it all at the same time, wich resulted in small WTF moments, untill i figured out i was still on the 2 step:oops:
