amazing.

after not moving since the GAST/FAST meet and after a long nap in the garage, i got the battery charged, bolted back on some misc stuff that still needed finishing and unloaded the bed full of parts and pulled it out for a long time needed carwash.

took her around the block a few times and it was great to hear turbo spool again out of the 3" dump. definately weird driving it after having been driving the Typhoon(s), the now gone Pontiac, and the new replacement Acura TSX.

that was a personal fathers day gift for myself to get it running and drive it again.

I still need to do the interior since all the dash panels are out and the ECM is just laying on the floor, but at least theres a good chance I'll be driving it to the next orlando meet :tup:


only downside, having the truck in running condition will be short lived. Probably after the orlando meet, I plan to go back in and start with the ABS/cruise control removal and the TC swap to a 2800 stall, and get with Hood on a custom chip with my open time here and there. Goal for completion is to be able to get to the Miami Meet

Adam that is good to hear that you got it running again.

what did waller find out about the tranny, what was messed up with it?

i thought november was a good goal... i mean it when i say time here and there to work on it... schedule is crazy and my time is mostly with cailin now. shit... GAST/FAST meet was like, early January or something and I just now drove it for the first time again?



its a hughes 3000 stall in it now... it'll be for sale when it comes out of the truck. I'll make a hell of a deal on it, its only got about 800 miles on it and only 1 slowass eighth mile pass on it.



Jon, no idea on the trans yet... if Hoods magic converter doesnt work, i might be putting away the syclone for a temporary hibernation.... a really long temperary hibernation.
