3" exhaust advice.

I am about to install an ATR 3" DP. I have a stainless 3" ultra flow, an 3" from there back, but from the dp to the cat is 2.5" with a reducer at the muff. I want to go 3" all the way, but don't know where to get it, have it bent, etc, etc. I would prefer not to replace the entire system if at all possible. WHat I want is from Dp to muff, 3" mandrel bend, and flanges around the cat so I can remove it and put in a test pipe for race purposes.

Any suggestions?

so you need to replace the cat/reducer with a 3" pipe or 3" cat correct? most muffler shops can weld/clamp this stuff together for you.

That is assuming I understand your description..

front to back:
3" dp
2.5" cat
2.5"->3" expander
3" exhaust back

YES, I need a pipe from the DP to the Muff. I t has to be able to accept a 3" cat(removeable). The muff back is 3". I have called a few local shops, but nobody does mandrel bends. That's my problem. I could just buy an ATR kit complete, but I only need about 4 ft of piping.

you can buy mandrel bends and have them weld it together for you...

i have the atr 3" exhaust . the down pipe goes to the end of the firewall. then there is a s shaped pipe that slips on to the downpipe. after that s shaped pipe is test pipe. it is just a cat cut out pipe. it comes with the whole atr sy/ty exhaust system. pm me and i will give you my web site name and password.

Mike, Summit sells 3in exh tubing fairly cheap. They also have bends and what not to pick from too.

Anyone got any picks of the ATR set up installed? I'd like to look at it so I can order the pieces. The bottom side that is.

Burns Stainless is also a very good source of mandrel-bent stainless (and aluminum, titanium, inconel, etc) tubing. http://www.burnsstainless.com
