4l80e line pressure question

When my tci tcu is connected and I am viewing the dashboard on my laptop , is it a setting that controls what it views the line pressure as ? I ask because it was reading real low on my laptop and I dont know why . With a tranny line unhooked , it flows out pretty quickly . On jackstands , I can put it in gear and the tires will spin . Same with reverse .

On the ground is another story . It wont move in any gear , but I can see accurate tps and rpm on the dash . The tech at tci said my tranny must have the problem since the laptop synchronizes with the tcu . On the tcu harness , I tested the solenoids using the supplied diagnostic procedures in the tci manual . Every sensor checked was within the ranges specified .

I am looking to see what else I can do before I pull the tranny ? I finally got my engine running smooth on the 75#ers and now it wont move .

I bought my syclone to have as a toy , but right now its not very fun to play with . I am open to all suggestions ...

When Jeff and I did mine, I was having a similar problem. We were just testing the PCS TCU to see if we could get it work properly. The tires would move when up in the air but on the ground nothing. We checked the fluid level and it wasn't on the stick yet. Once we got enough fluid in there it would move. I am pretty sure you probably have enough fluid in there but I would check it to make sure.

Paul I wanted to say thanks . I know I had at least 8 quarts in there already and it was showing full on my dipstick . I had already filled and checked the fluid twice , and had ruled that out in my head . But ..

After searching for exact fluid capacities , I found dry it is supposed to take 13.5 qts , 7.7 if you remove the pan . Apparently I was 5 quarts low . I put the needed fluid in , and it all works . I am soo relieved .

I was this close to pullng the tranny out this weekend .

Sweet glad that all it was. Would have sucked to have pulled it out. That is one heavy SOB.
