when i load a cd into the player, it goes in fine, but the player does not see that the cd is inserted, it just stays silent and no indication comes up on the radio that its loaded.
i pulled the radio out and found that the main black harness is fine, but the small blue harness above it has been hacked and put back together with butt connecters...its all connected, but theres all these wires hanging out the end of the connecters with exposed ends?!
the radio works fine, no probs...its just it wont read a cd.
questions are:
1. is the blue harness the one that controls the cd player section?
2. WTF is the correct color/wire combo?
im looking at the SyTy CD-ROM V3, but cant seem to find this info....
any help is mucho appreciated...
