Alright i tryed searching and i didnt see anything about this. I sucked a peice of plastic in from my air box and it bent a few of my fins on the intake side of the turbo, I was just wondering if you could just replace the wheel the fins are on or am i lookin at buying a new turbo?
Thanks

me too, same thing!

i tightened that air box hose clamp a little too much i guess... :x

i ended up getting a new cartridge. its just a brand new center section of the stock turbo.... fully balanced with both wheels installed.

i was told that the assembly wouldn't be balanced if you replace the wheel only and that i would be asking for trouble.
so i got my cartridge from TEC (turbo engineering corp.) in Golden, Colorado (where Coors is made ::brews:: ) 303-271-3997. ask for Holly, she seems to know her stuff. she'll prolly try to sell you a 20g upgrade....

with shipping it cost me $496.67

it really bites how a small piece of plastic getting sucked in can end up costing you five bills...:bad-word:

when i had the turbo all apart, i port matched the exhaust housing to the manifold flange. i also bell-mouthed and polished the outlet side of the compressor housing and the inlet of the IC before slapping it back together.
i did this cuz i had the opportunity and the tools.....can't say i noticed a big difference after doing it though....

hope this helps
