I looked at the map and it's a frickin long way from Wilmington, DE down to Savannah Georgia.

I plan to drive down on Thursday night and get about halfway, stop in a motel and finish off the following day.

What time are people aiming to get where we need to get to and where is it we need to get to by when?

Anyone interested in hooking up - looks like a straight shot down I-95 then I 295 then back on I - 95.

I'm looking at staying at or near Raleigh on the Thursday night and on the Sunday on the way back.

Registration will open Friday morning, but a few folks are coming into town Thursday night. If anyone decides to arrive earlier than Friday, remember that the hotel discount (which I will have info on tomorrow) only applies to Friday-Sunday, so Thursday night rates will be at a normal price ($60 per night or so I would imagine).

e-rue and turbotime are in raleigh, you should try to meet up with them if they are headed to the event, wish i could go, but i'll be on a flight to mexico

wilmington to savannah is a piece of cake Mark, id say 10 hours tops.

Im not 100% sure if Ill be going just yet or not (depends on whats happening at work), but I do know that if I attend that Ill have to leave early on sunday morning in order to not be a zombie at work on Monday after a fun filled syty owners weekend.

If you have Dennis with you, you guys could switch half-way through if need be like the others said. You'll be surprised how far you can drive when you have someone along with you for the ride. If you were driving solo, then you may want to break it up, but with someone with you that you can converse with, it'll make the time fly by and you'll be here in no time. See you guys then!

I am still deciding if i am going. If I do I might hook up with you guys since you'll be coming right past me.

It is definitely a drive you can do in one day. Hell you could drive there and back in one day if you dont mess around.

Guys, let me know if you are coming through Charleston, SC (about 90 min North of Savannah). I may have a room for you and garage space for a couple trucks on Thursday (and maybe Friday) night. It would save a night in the hotel and would also be a good chance to do some pre-cleaning & tuning (I have most standard garage type stuff but no lift yet...) before rolling into Savannah.

We'll be heading down on wed late night/thursday early. We will potentially be travelling with two duallies and two, two car enclosed trailers. We will know exact details as we get closer.
