I couldn't find a way to verify mine. Everyone kept saying that their "either completely bad or fine", but I kept having intermittent problems. It turned out that the conformal coating on mine was causing the chips to lift at times which lead to my problems. Long story short, I bought a PCM from Autozone and it solved my issues. Heres a link to the tech bulletin that pretty much named all my symptoms. It even calls out our PCM's by part number specifically.
