anyone has a write up on how to connect the intrepid electrict fans with an electrical write up. Any help would be useful thanks

Re: Electrict Fan Intrepid

I had a set of Camaro lt1 type dual fans on my car fit very well between engine and radiator, have to delete fan clutch of course but other then mounting it to your exsisting setup underthe hood it fits and works rather well.

Re: Electrict Fan Intrepid

I just picked up a set of these and jumped on Alldata to look up the 04 Intrepid schematics for the fans. There are 4 pages in this PDF which includes the parameters for each fan turning on.

I plan on using an Arduino and one of our driver boards ( http://pinballcontrollers.com/index.php/products/driver-boards/master ) to run a custom algorithm that will take signals from the coolant temp sensor (for the gauge), speed sensor, and AC on/off switch and control these. I will probably just run a single signal out to run both fans at the same time when the conditions are met.

Maybe try this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/RADIATOR-FA...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a839f8cd7 I had it on the Ty with the Intrepid fan until the fan crapped out, I put the stock setup back in and never got around to putting it back in. Now I have it in my Jeep and it works great. Its really cool because it slowly ramps up the fans. Everyone I show how it works thinks its awesome. The seller is in the next town over, so that's even better.

That's a nice piece. I just want a bit more control over the fans plus I can add in more automation like dropping the mirrors down when backing up and doing memory seats.

Re: Electrict Fan Intrepid

I just finished my intrepid fan install. I used a flexalite progressive control and it works awesome! My old fan setup the fan never turned off, these cool off quick and the fans actually turn off. Does great job maintaining temps.

A buddy of mine installed one of those too and he wished he got the one I got.
