I'm starting the headgasket job on the turbo Sunbird here in a few minutes.... BTW, it's convertible with 90k and is FOR SALE
The Syclone is next on my to do list, maybe have the trans out tomorrow...BTW, it's mostly stock with 41k and is FOR SALE

Sunday is out for me... im not driving back and forth to lakeland/orlando.
Alright...looks like this meet is a bust. I'll just start planning for the Memorial Day meet instead since it's nearby. More effort goes into the Memorial meet anyhow.

I wanted to at least say that I wouldnt be attending , but I see its a NO GO now anyway . I am glad you guys organize these meets even though lots back out , or dont come . It will be a perfect world when everyones trucks are running and everyone hangs out . One day soon I hope .

Usually we are a bit more organized than this...but its been bad timing for everyone lately with family or broken trucks.
The Memorial Day event should get everyone back out. I'll start working on something for it and see whats going on.
Jordan... I'll be hanging out with Ian tonight...dunno if he'll be up for taking out his truck to go play. Id still like to cruise by and check out the bike, maybe go see christian too. I'll see about convincing him that he needs to take the Sy into some triple digits.

Well...
Me and Ian took his truck out on a late street brigade and caught up with a couple of F-Bodies, Eclipses, GTO and a sickly fast turbo 200SX (he was runnin down the F-bodies on the highway hard) at The Corner.
Anyways, we head out and goto the middle of nowhere downtown orlando on a known hotspot backroad for streetracing, we watched a few races and I actually flagged for 2 seperate races between a Firehawk and WS6.
Ian decided he wanted to run the 06 GTO just as it was breaking up and everyone was started to head out due to cops in the area.
When the GTO was called out by his friends to run Ian he came back with:
"Yeah Im scared of the Syclone! My driving skill and his AWD!?"
Heh. No racing for us, but still funny to watch a bunch of guys argue like girls about whos racing who and comparing ring tones (everyone knew each other).
Im itching to get my truck out now.....
