I was at the track friday, watching the cars in the staging lanes, when a truck was reving up not far away. Appearently they were having problems with it and reved it up several times. This caught my ear instantly as I heard the turbo flutter.
We walked over, and sure enough.. its a full size chevy shortbed pickup with a sy motor.
The owner found the motor after recieving a call about a "chevy motor" from a buddy. He went to pick it up for 150 bucks (complete w/intake/exhaust/etc). they adapted it into this truck, had some turbo manifolds made and dropped a replacement turbo in.
Its running off a computer I've never heard of, bolted to a 700r4, and not surprizingly having problems. 15.6 was the only run I saw him complete.
