fuel pump grey wire routing

Hello, I bought a 93 Typhoon and it already had the racetronx fuel pump hot wire kit installed. The main hot wire in the system runs up to the alternator. The harness has a male and female connector back up under behind the tank that plugs into the factory fuel pump harness making it a plug and play. I see the relay back there on the racetronx harness that has the Grey wire for the fuel pump and if I apply 12v to it the pump in the truck turn on. The previous owner installed lots of other stuff under the hood electrically. I do not see the two relays by the brake booster so I can not find where the grey wire is under the hood. It goes up and over the tank at the back so I can not find it anywhere. I checked the two factory looms along the drivers side frame rail and there is no Grey wire. Does it go through the Typhoon under the carpet from the rear or somewhere else? If nothing else I will have to run a new wire from the harness back there up to the Holley EFI Green fuel pump wire. Any help, or guesses, would be appreciated.

On Syclones and Typhoons the gray wire that turns the fuel pump on when power is applied to it is behind the distributer, Where the group of wires goes to the relays that are supposed to be on the firewall.

Now if is the 92 Typhoon you bought from me I am not sure if the wire is still there. I would guess it is. But Dave P did some work on the harness for me. But I think the only thing that is not there anymore is the wires for the intercooler relay.

There is a wiring diagram on this site somewhere. If I can find it I will update this post and add it.

Ok, look at page 42 in the wiring diagram in this link. Far right side of the page you will see gray wire with connector for the fuel pump prime(wire #120). It looks like it goes to the fuel pump relay there on the firewall and also to the oil pressure switch it you trace the wire in the diagram it shows this. It is a gray wire at those locations according to the diagram.

I checked all the wiring while the motor was out and do not have any straggler wires that are not plugged in. or accounted for. I will just tie into the grey wire back at the plug n play racetronix harness and run it up tp the green Holley EFI fuel pump wire and call it good. I know once I do that I will find out where the original grey wire is and I am sure it will be about 12 inches away from where I needed it LOL. Thx Phil

I guess when Dave worked on my harness that he could have replaced the wires to the oil pressure switch and the fuel pump relay and not thrown out the wire you are looking for. If a wire under the hood is closer to were you need to tap into a wire. Could you not connect into the gray wire at the oil pressure switch or the fuel pump relay. Look at the diagram to verify what I am thinking.
