Fuel rail fix ??

Whats the best way to fix a leaky fuel rail?
There was a FP sender on the rail were the schrader valve is and when I went to take it off today i cracked the weld at the schrader. Any ideas?
Weld it? This is a Typhoon. make a sy rail fit? or JB weld?

take it to a welding shop and have then silver solder it or braze it. IMO jb weld wont hold and MIG/TIGing it might be too much heat and will burn through.

Silver solder is usded in HVAC connections on the pressure lines so it should be fine (IMO).

chewing gum or duct tape, should hold up, but if you can't find any. i say get a price on a new(used) rail, and get a price on the fix that myclone posted.

i know how weak these rails are.

Don't fret. They are available from GM for $1,422.94

www.sportmachines.com Parts has some for sale for a bit less, if the $1,422 is a little steep. ;-)
